1. Write a premise with a goal and a problem
Describe who the story follows, what they want and what gets in their way. Add the tone and ending if you already know them. A specific situation gives the planner more to work with than a request to make something viral.
2. Define the world and recurring characters
Create a project for the series. Describe the setting, language, visual style and cast. Review character images and confirm the references you want used. For later episodes, reuse the same project and add a brief recap when earlier events matter.
3. Read the story before the scene plan
Check that events have causes and each line fits the speaker. Then inspect the scenes: who appears, where they are, how long the action takes and how the next scene begins. Choose a 20, 25 or 30-second duration that suits the premise rather than squeezing several unrelated events into one short.
4. Approve the quote and generate
Planning is free; media generation uses credits. Review the cost shown in Rotify, approve production and follow progress in the workspace. Changing a plan before generation is a useful way to catch a missing character or an ending that does not fit.
5. Watch the export before publishing
Check faces, clothing, props, dialogue, sound and the order of events in the finished video. Make sure text and important action are readable on a phone. Download the vertical video and upload it to your chosen platform; Rotify does not publish it for you.
A prompt to start from
A nervous banana must deliver a birthday cake to the moon. His strawberry co-pilot insists the map is upside down. In 30 seconds, show the argument, a wrong turn and a small surprise at the destination.
Adapt the characters, setting and ending to make the story yours.
